Your Responsibilities 

• Strategic development of our business segments (injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion)
• Analysis and evaluation of market trends, competitors and technological developments
• Identify and analyse customer needs and changing requirements systematically
• Identification of market gaps and development of new business potential
• Development of a portfolio strategy based on the motan and swift brand strategy
• Designing a roadmap for product development (product gaps and product improvements)
• Planning and implementation of market entry strategies for existing and new fields
• Close cooperation with sales, product development, marketing and service
• Portfolio management within the responsible business segments

Your Profile and Skills

• Completed degree in industrial engineering, plastics engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years' experience in the plastics processing, ideally in injection moulding, blow moulding or extrusion
• Expertise in market analysis, competitive analysis and business development
• Experience in the B2B environment of mechanical and plant engineering
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking, conceptual strength and communication skills
• High level of personal initiative and willingness to engage in interdisciplinary teamwork
• Strong understanding of technical and economic correlations
• Ability to analyse complex market information in a comprehensible and structured manner
• Analytical thinking for deriving well-founded recommended actions
